SCREW CONVEYOR
Screw Conveyors OR Auger Conveyors are Industrial Equipment used in Transporting Bulk quantities of Granular Solids, Semi-Solids, Liquids, and even Non-Flowing Materials from one point to another. Screw Conveyors are useful for Horizontal & Incline Conveying of Bulk Material according to System required capacity.
The Screw Conveyor consists of a Tubular or U-shaped Trough in which a Shaft with Spiral / Helical Screw revolves. The rotation of Screw pushes the Material along the Trough towards discharge Point. The Screw Shaft is supported Bearings at ends. This is an Economical System of Elevating and Conveying Bulk Material Like Flour, Grains, Wood Chips, Boiler Ash etc.
JACKETED SCREW CONVEYOR is specially designed for Boiler / Furnace High Temperature bottom Ash. Bottom Ash continually falls from the Boiler / Furnace Throat through the insulated bottom ash chute into the Water Jacketed Screw Conveyor. This Conveyor have consisted cooling arrangement for Screw Pipe, Shaft, Bearings and Complete Body. This discharged Ash is Sized OR Crushed and transported to Ash Silo OR for Truck Loading.
SRCS can provide Zero Speed Switch to supplied Equipment for Safe Operation as per requirement.
